Description
"From Dark to Light"
Final section.
Happy conclusion.

This section is in two parts.
The Theme played by the Cor-anglais represents the grandmother. This theme is dominant throughout the first section.
This first section, resembles the despair of the mother, and the appearance of the grandmother who brings the child back to life.

The second section is more or less a repetition of the third vision; "The Christmas Tree and beautiful decorations." Here, I have taken away the irony. This time its all for real. Everyone is happy, there is enough for all, there is no greed, no need, no poverty!
Here I wanted to stress this happy end, and the lack of poverty, hunger and need, because everyone is prepared to share. This movement stresses that there is sufficient for all if the world were a more caring place. If all took care of each other, no one need suffer.

A CD recording for international release of this section has been made by Vienna Modern Masters in the Czech Republic, Olomouc June 2001. It was performed by the Moravian Philharmonic orchestra, conductor, Toshiyuki Shimada.
