Description
Sad Prelude and Carefree was originally
written for the Derby Youth Orchestra,
for strings and piano 1991.
2008, this piece was orchestrated for
full orchestra, and rewritten 2012.
The first movement, 'Sad Prelude' expresses sad
thought and reflections on youthful concerns,
the second movement, 'Carefree' expresses
youthful happiness and unconcerned joyfulness,
free from all cares.
